With approx. 60 kilometres, the Defereggen valley (Defereggental) between East Tyrol and Lienz is the longest valley in the Alps and, at the same time, the least inhabited. Ride right up to the end of the valley to find a very special natural gem at Staller Sattel with its enchanting lake. Anyone who would like to find out more abut Tyrolean traditions and life should visit the national park exhibition “Die Zirbe” in St. Jakob and the Defregger Machlkammer.
